Stephen Harper and the Decline of the Fish Regime

Well I can only imagine the scene in the dungeon of the PMO tonight.

A desperate Stephen Harper trying to decide which one of his multiple personalities might make Canadians love him again.

Only to receive the devastating news eh?

An overwhelming number of Canadians don't care whether he plays Nero or Mother Theresa. They just want to give him and his Cons the hook.

Halfway through Prime Minister Stephen Harper’s majority mandate, most Canadians feel it’s time for a different party to take the reins in Ottawa, according to a new poll. A CTV News Ipsos Reid poll found that only 30 per cent feel the Harper government has done a good job and deserves to be re-elected, while 70 per cent feel it’s time for a different party to take over.

Which is going to make it REALLY hard for him to try to put a fresh face on his tired government.

Because I did try to finish that article, but even though the list was short, it was too BORING.

You already know what I think of these two cabinet candidates...

And if he chooses this one:

Pierre Poilievre, MP for Nepean-Carleton, is also a cabinet contender and parliamentary secretary to the minister of transport. He’s also former parliamentary secretary to the prime minister.

You know the guy who claimed the root cause of terrorism is terrorism.

It will be even WORSE....

Or even more RIDICULOUS.

And of course it's not like Stephen Harper can change HIS monstrous image by playing the piano AGAIN...

Not after he lost his mask so long ago...

And not when he's the main reason most Canadians now prefer ANYONE but the Cons.

And the best news? Time is on our side.

For if Canadians are sick of him now, can you imagine how they'll feel the longer he clings to power?

Yup. When a government starts to rot from the head down, like a fish, there's not much you can do to save it, or stop the stench from spreading.

Which is why I can hardly wait for Great Fishy Leader's speech to the Con convention eh?

The one that is supposed to relaunch his government.

But I'm betting will go NOWHERE.

And sound something like this...

I mean what else can he say?

Feesh? You like Feesh?

Stephen Harper's New/Nouveau Government.

Somebody get a newspaper to wrap it in eh?

Muahahahaha....
