Stephen Harper and the Madness of the Con Regime

In his fragile mental state it must have seemed like a natural transition. The beast within him must have howled.

For three days he'd play Mother Theresa or Mother Harper at the Maternal Health Summit.

The friend of cute starving children, and the butcher of women who need a safe abortion.

But last night he'd be Margaret Thatcher !!!

The Dangerous Isolation of the Desperate Stephen Harper

As you know the thing that bothers me the most in the hideous darkness of Con Canada, is the way the MSM have failed to properly portray the real Stephen Harper.

Failed to warn Canadians that the man they see, and the man behind the curtain, or in the shadows, are two very different people.

One is a plodding and plotting second rate ideologue who would bore us to death, or condemn us to mediocrity.

And the other is a raging beast who would tear this country apart and change it beyond recognition.

The Day Julian Fantino Ran From the Wife of a Veteran

He has betrayed Canadian veterans, he has disrespected them, he has nickel and dimed them to death.

There is never enough money to help the wounded, the elderly, and their families, or  keep regional offices open.

But it turns out there is all the money in the world to try to make Julian Fantino look good.

Stephen Harper and the Catastrophic Decline of the Con Regime

Well I knew he was desperate. I knew he would do anything to try to improve his sagging polls.

But after pawing the Chief Justice and trying to rape the constitution, it was never going to be easy eh?

So there he was yesterday posing as a friend of women and children.

But only of women who don't need a safe abortion, and children who don't live on Canadian reserves.

But then why should anybody be surprised when his government is so old, so tired, and completely out of ideas.

Jason Kenney's Never-Ending Fast Food Nightmare

Oh goody. Pass the ketchup and call an ambulance. It looks like Jason Kenney's Little Shop of Con Horrors and Foreign Workers just got even MORE entertaining.

Because now not only is the fast food industry going after Kenney for cutting off its juicy supply of cheap foreign labour.

Now they're so steamed, or broiled, by his plan to fix the problem, by forcing them to pay those slaves more than they do Canadians.

They're going after Boss Harper !!!

The Blindness of the Media, and the True Nature of Stephen Harper

It's the question that haunts me the most. The one I keep asking myself, but can never answer:

Why after all the horrible things he's done to Canada and its values do so many in the MSM still not recognize the true nature of Stephen Harper ?

Or ask themselves whether it's normal for a Canadian leader to behave in the depraved way he does? And whether he's still fit to remain in office.

Instead of pretending that despite his crazed assault on our democracy, and his many other atrocities, it's still politics as usual.

Jason Kenney and the Foreign Workers Turd Blossom

Oh dear. I'm afraid I have some shocking Con fashion news to report today.

It seems that Jason Kenney has been forced to replace his fine feathery foreign workers pimp hat, with a very ugly, but suitably Con blue, dunce cap.

Because not only has he blown another hole in his fraudulent claim that the only reason he flooded the country with foreign workers was because there is a serious labour shortage in Canada.

The federal government approved thousands of requests to bring in temporary foreign workers at minimum wage in recent years, a practice that undermines claims from government and employers that there are serious labour shortages and that all efforts have been taken to hire Canadians.

He's totally demolished his desperate plan to try to win brownie points as the guy who can fix the problem, he created.

If the CBC Wants to Honour Knowlton Nash it Must Fire Rex Murphy

On a day when the country is mourning the CBC icon and distinguished Canadian Knowlton Nash.

At a time when the CBC is bleeding to death from the savage cuts imposed by the brutish un-Canadian Harper regime.

And some of its most admired journalists are taking early retirement, to try to protect the jobs of some of their younger colleagues. All honour to them.

I only have one question: will the CBC now also do the honourable thing and finally fire Rex Murphy?

Stephen Harper and the Little PMO Monsters

It's a deeply disturbing image. Stephen Harper in his bunker surrounded by his shrinking inner circle.

The only ones he still trusts after having disposed of all his enemies, real or imagined.

Making wild plans to destroy Justin Trudeau AND the Chief Justice.

And nobody able to rein him in, because as I've warned before, this is a PMO like no other.

Saturday, May 24, 2014

Jason Kenney and the Foreign Worker's Farce

Well I see that Jason Kenney has been reduced to playing King Canute.

Frantically trying to hold back the rising tide of foreign workers flooding into Canada.

Trying to make it look like he's The Solution, not the guy who created the problem.

Rob Ford and the Lost Animals of Far Enough Farm

Well although he personally believes that crack addicts should be jailed not pampered, I see Rob Ford is finally in rehab.

His monstrous Fordzillamobile is in the pound.

Earlier this week, Ford's Cadillac Escalade was impounded after a 36-year-old woman, Lee Anne McRobb, was charged with impaired driving in Bracebridge while behind the wheel of the vehicle.

And no doubt that "man of the people" is suffering terribly.

Or not.

The Harper Spammers and the Con War on the CBC

It's such a bizarre request for money, it could only have come from the crazed minds of the increasingly desperate fanatics in the dark heart of the Con regime.

Or the criminal mind of a Nigerian or Russian spammer.

For only the Harper PMO would have the nerve to ask their sucker base to send money quickly, to hold back the red menace.

Stephen Harper and the Great Warrior Leader Delusion

It's scary enough that the wonky nerd Stephen Harper should see himself as a Great Warrior Leader, a strategic genius on a par with Napoleon.

Or that he is both an avid student of Stalin AND an ardent believer in The Rapture.

Who is presently trying to trigger a superpower confrontation in Ukraine, by among other things comparing Putin to Hitler.

And apparently hypnotizing Prince Charles into believing the same thing.

Just to win votes in Canada.

But what makes all of this even more deeply disturbing, is that the Orwellian monster Stephen Harper is actually trying to rewrite this country's history.

Stephen Harper and the Disgraceful Adventures of the Con Regime

As I've mentioned recently, I can't be sure whether Stephen Harper is now in a state of total denial, or totally broken by scandal, or just totally insane.

But either way it's deeply disturbing, and one does have to question whether he's fit to remain in office.

For there he was in the House of Commons today, still refusing to apologize for smearing the Chief Justice. Still claiming he did no wrong, still thinking he can walk away from the controversy.

Or as Aaron Wherry puts it more crudely, still delivering a flaming bag of dog poop.

Stephen Harper and the Final Battle For Canada

For more than eight years he has waged war on Canada and its values.

The Canada he once called a "second tier socialist country." The country whose values he hates so much.

He has assaulted our democracy, smeared and bullied his opponents, muzzled scientists, gutted the census, burned books, and turned his hideous Harperland into a surveillance state, where fear is a weapon, and the Big Lie RULES.

But now he is crazy desperate, his Big Oil dreams are collapsing, and the final Battle for Canada is about to begin.

Stephen Harper's Excruciatingly Embarrassing Supreme Court Fiasco

Gawd. I bet I know how Stephen Harper is spending the May Two-Four weekend eh?

Trying to build up his courage to say sorry to the Chief Justice for smearing her so viciously, like a thug or a maniac.

And hoping that nobody noticed how he jinxed the Montreal Canadien's first game against the New York Rangers...

Thanks Steve.

Could Stephen Harper Still Win the Next Election?

It's a horrible question, and one I'd rather not ask myself in the middle of the Victoria Day weekend.

Lest it encourage me to join half the population, and start drinking heavily.

But with all those reports or rumours that the Cons are preparing for an election sooner rather than later.

Maybe it is time to ask ourselves whether Stephen Harper could still hang on to power?

The Day Against Homophobia and Transphobia and the Con Bigots

It's International Day Against Homophobia and Transphobia. A day to remember the millions of LGBT people in the world who are being oppressed, hurt, and even murdered for the "crime" of being who they are.

A day to remember that even in Canada, the hatred that kills is still a problem.

For how can I forget that it almost killed me?

Stephen Harper and the War on Russia and Tom Mulcair

Well I suppose it was inevitable. He would pose as a Great Warrior Leader, and promote democracy in Ukraine, if not in Canada.

He would beat his tiny furry chest, send troops, planes, and ships to the region, and talk tough to the sinister dwarf Vladimir Putin.

In relentless pursuit of the ethnic vote.

Only to see his grand plan to bring Putin to his knees, with a barrage of "crippling sanctions" to be fired out of every orifice, exposed as a hollow farce.

Stephen Harper and the Foul Smearing of Tom Mulcair

There surely could not have been a more outrageous sight than the spectacle of Tom Mulcair today being grilled like a criminal.

And accused by the Cons of using parliamentary funds for partisan purposes.

Tom Mulcair stood his ground Thursday throughout an unprecedented two-hour grilling by a Commons committee over the NDP's allegedly improper use of parliamentary resources. The NDP leader was at times contemptuous of his Conservative and Liberal tormentors, but managed to keep his temper in check as he insisted — repeatedly — that New Democrats have done nothing wrong.

The Abominable Tim Hudak and the Koch Connection

I have to admit that I sometimes find it hard to take Tim Hudak seriously. He's such a goof, such a lousy campaigner, such a loser.

Until I remember that after Stephen Harper he is the most beastly Con in Canada, and  a Republican clone if ever there was one.

A man who lives to bust unions, drive down wages, and blow Big Business like a hoover.  A political thug who believes in chain gangs.

And a ghastly tea bagger who got his insane plan to create jobs by killing them, from a kooky right-wing American economist who works for the Koch brothers.

The Day Stephen Harper Was Forced to Change His Story

He has apparently retreated to his bunker, surrounded by his shrinking inner circle, in the one place where he feels he's still in TOTAL CONTROL.

And his many enemies real or imagined can't get him.

The wild rage is over. But now, as Tom Flanagan recently warned us, comes the ghastly darkness.

“He can be suspicious, secretive, and vindictive, prone to sudden eruptions of white-hot rage over meaningless trivia, at other times falling into week-long depressions in which he is incapable of making decisions.”

And the desperate attempts to limit the damage.

Stephen Harper and Pierre Poilievre's Day of Disgrace

You should have seen Stephen Harper this evening in the House of Commons, beaming like a proud father, and clapping wildly, as his Reform boy Pierre Poilievre stood up to vote.

On his Day of Disgrace.

And his equally excited Con sheep bleated their approval of the so-called Fair Elections Act.

On their Day of Shame.

Stephen Harper and the Great Makeover That Failed

It's hard to believe, but it has now been more than four months since Stephen Harper set out to try to remake his image, and recast himself as the kinder, gentler, Great Leader, of the new/nouveau Con Regime.

By among other things, launching his own video channel, 24 SEVEN, to portray himself as the Father AND the Mother of the Nation...

Robocall Scandal: Did the Harper PMO Lie to Elections Canada?

He has been lucky so far. The robocall scandal hasn't yet penetrated the darkness of his foul PMO.

But now the robocall trial of Michael Sona is about to begin. Who knows who he might call upon to testify?

And this can't be good news.

The Day the Hudak Gila Tour Went Off the Rails

The other day I told you how annoyed I was to look up from my hammock, rocking gently in the warm Spring sunshine, after the Winter from Hell.

And see the ghastly Con Gila Tim Hudak coming straight for me, bellowing like a Republican or a Harperite, and threatening to become the next Premier of Ontario.

But now I've changed my mind eh? Because the Hudak Gila Tour 2014 is promising to be even MORE hilarious than the last one !!!!

Stephen Harper and the Kingdom of Fear

There was a revealing moment during the CBC's coverage of the National Day of Honour, when an armoured car and other military vehicles rolled on to Parliament Hill.

And for a few seconds at least, the CBC reporter Hannah Thibedeau seemed genuinely shocked by the sight. She quickly regained her composure, and seemed almost embarrassed by her reaction.

But I thought she should have trusted her first instinct, for I too thought that there was something not quite right, or Canadian, about that invasion of Parliament Hill...

Stephen Harper and the National Day of Humiliation

Well I'm happy to report that although Stephen Harper did manage to briefly enjoy one of his favourite fantasies.

By making it look like his military had finally brought down  Parliament.

His hopes that the National Day of Honour would honour him above all other Canadians, were cruelly smashed.

When he was forced to concede, at the very last minute, that the Governor General is the REAL commander-in-chief.

Tim Hudak and the Abominable Gila Monster

OK, I might as well say it. I need an Ontario election just when it's finally starting to feel like Spring, like I need a hole in the head, or Ontario needs Tim Hudak.

Because he is a beastly Republican-style Con who would rip a hole the size of a province in this country. And along with his good buddy Stephen Harper, take us all down with him.

Or turn us into another union busting Alabama. Or Putin's Russia.

Stephen Harper and the Day of Disappointment

Well today is the National Day of Honour. The day Stephen Harper proclaimed should honour all those who served in Afghanistan.

But as I explained the other night, is an unseemly debacle mainly intended to honour HIMSELF.

Even if that means elbowing the Governor General out of the way, and posing as the commander-in-chief.

Stephen Harper and the Facebook Creepers

He seeks total control. His dark world is full of enemies and he must know them ALL.

His slogan is "Knowledge is Power, Ignorance is Strength. Where he knows everything about us, but we don't know anything about him.

He's building a massive security apparatus, he's been trying to violate our privacy for YEARS.

And threatening us if we don't surrender...

So I suppose we shouldn't be surprised to discover him with his pants down creeping out our social media.

The Supreme Court Smear and the Incredible Shrinking Peter MacKay

I have never had much respect for Peter MacKay since the day he sold out his Progressive Conservative party to Stephen Harper's Reform Alliance.

For as the moderate Con Lowell Murray said at the time, it was the end of a proud party, and an act of pure treachery.

Just days after a leadership campaign in which he repeatedly denied any intent to merge, and without consulting either caucus colleagues or the party executive, Peter MacKay secretly undertook to negotiate the dissolution of the PC Party.

Now, an agreement in principle, signed by Mr. MacKay and Alliance Leader Stephen Harper, comes as a fait accompli. The message is that there's no turning back, no alternative; the Tory farm has been sold and Dec. 12 is merely the closing day.

But I have to say that when he sold his soul to Stephen Harper, even I could not have predicted how low he would fall.

The Scary Self Destruction of the Monster Stephen Harper

Well I have to admit that I'm not in the best shape myself. And that I will be hobbling around on crutches for about a week.

But I want to thank those of you who sent me all those sweet comments. And all the nurses who spoiled me rotten. And our wonderful medicare system.

And I just want to say at least I'm in better shape than Stephen Harper eh?

Because he's crawling through the gutter on all fours, and he's a real MESS.

Blogging and the Great Escape from Harperland

Well I must admit that there are so many things I want to do with my free time, now that the Winter from Hell is over and it finally feels like Spring.

Almost all of them have to do with bikes and boats.

And blogging about the horror of Harperland is not one of them. Not when sometimes all I can think about is how to escape the grubby living nightmare that the Cons have created...

Stephen Harper's Shameful Day of Dishonour

As you may know, Stephen Harper has proclaimed that next Friday should be a National Day of Honour.

The Government of Canada has set aside this day to mark the end of our country’s military mission in Afghanistan. A national ceremony on Parliament Hill will pay tribute to the fallen, the sacrifices of the wounded, and the special burden borne by families.

And is furiously beating a tiny drum trying to whip up our patriotic fervour, by among other things, promoting this video on his propaganda site.

The Tragic Love Story of Steve Harper and Rob Ford

Well I think it's safe to say that those two bosom buddies Steve Harper and Rob Ford had a REALLY rotten week.

Once they had such big plans to impose total Con domination on the province of Ontario.

With the help of the other idiot stooge Tim Hudak...

But now it has all gone horribly wrong.

Stephen Harper: The Monster and the Madness

His massive propaganda machine has been working overtime to try to soften his image, but it's just not working.

Not when he is now in one of his wild rages, not when the monster is aroused, not when his evil madness is out of control.

For there he was today going after Beverley McLachlin like a rabid beast.

Friday, May 02, 2014

Stephen Harper and the Foul Assault on Beverley McLachlin

I knew he would go after the Supreme Court, now that he is so bitter and crazy desperate.

I knew that he would not be able to contain his anger, after losing five SCOC decisions in a row.

And that his rage would explode out of every orifice like vomit or diarrhoea.

But who knew him and his depraved Cons would stoop so low as to try to smear the Chief Justice?

The Day the Jason Kenney Went Crazy on Twitter

Lordy. For a moment the other day I thought that I might have to change my poster for Jason Kenney's leadership campaign, fearing that he had finally gone over the deep end.

And that the combination of his sagging personal popularity, his sinking leadership chances, and/or his painful chastity vows, had caused him to lose control of himself.

For what else could explain this Twitter explosion?

Stephen Harper and the Big Brother Cons

We know he seeks total control. We know he would be our very own Big Brother.

We know he's out of his mind, but would make us pay to make him look good.

But who knew he would make us pay to violate our own privacy?

Rob Ford and the Downfall of the Moron Nation

Well I suppose it was inevitable. But it sure took long enough. And the damage he did to Toronto and Canada's reputation was incalculable.

He's a bully, a bigot, a beast.

But he's finally going down.
