Can Donald Trump Pass A Sanity Test?

As you can imagine, even some of Donald Trump's closest advisers are said to be deeply worried about his mental state.

They say he appears shell shocked. He apparently had no idea that government was so difficult, and that he would have so little time for golf.

And of course he blames the media for EVERYTHING.

As one thing after the other goes horribly wrong.

Now Can We Call the Cons the Bigot Party?

Yesterday was the deadline for the Con leadership candidates to sign up new members.

And as you can imagine, as the clock ran out on them, it was not a pretty sight.

The stench of desperation hung heavy in the air, and the squealing was deafening.

But at least they did manage to provide even more proof that the Cons should now be known as Canada's Bigot Party.

Donald Trump: When Reality Bites

Donald Trump called his best known book the Art of the Deal.

And he has always tried to portray himself in that regard as a genius or an artist.

But after his Trumpcare plan went up in smoke the other day.

Reality took a big bite out of him, and shattered that image.

Michelle Rempel's Outrageous Assault on Justin Trudeau

It's a sad thing, but Michelle Rempel's behaviour is starting to alarm a lot of people in Ottawa, or deeply concern them.

For she just can't stop acting like she's boozed up, or stop directing torrents of abuse in the general direction of Justin Trudeau.

I mean who can forget when she recently accused him of treating Alberta...um...badly?

Or forget her many deeply disturbing Twitter tirades.

Well now she's done it again.

Donald Trump and the Trumpcare Disaster

Well what a difference a day makes. On Thursday Donald Trump was sitting in the cab of a monster truck demanding that Republicans support his plan to replace Obamacare.

Or else.

And when he woke up yesterday morning, he seemed pretty confident his Trumpcare plan would be approved.

But sadly for him, that's as good as it got.

Samantha Bee on Donald Trump's Hard Power Budget

Well there he was yesterday, sitting behind the wheel of a monster truck, looking like he was about to start mowing down his many enemies, real or imagined.

But the truck wasn't moving, thank goodness. Donald Trump wasn't going anywhere.

And neither is his plan to destroy Obamacare.

President Trump issued an ultimatum on Thursday to recalcitrant Republicans to fall in line behind a broad health insurance overhaul or see their opportunity to repeal the Affordable Care Act vanish, demanding a Friday vote on a bill that appeared to lack a majority to pass.

So Trump is now giving Republicans an ultimatum, pass my bill today, or ELSE.

The Quebec Bashing Media and the Tempest in a Snowstorm

It's a classic Canadian story, with some of the good and some of the bad that makes us who we are. And a lot of snow which does the same thing.

And it could have been an uplifting tale about battling and conquering the elements in the Great White North.

But instead it turned into a horror show, where more than a week later they're still trying to figure out how this could happen.

And to make matters worse, some in the Con media are using what happened as an excuse to bash Quebec and Quebecers again.

Rona Ambrose, the Budget, and the Scandalous Cons

I almost felt sorry for Rona Ambrose yesterday, as she tried to say something intelligent about the Liberal's new budget.

Only to fail miserably.

And end up looking, once again, like the village idiot.

Claiming that Liberal spending was out of control, and that it was a "nightmare scenario."

The Con Clown Leadership Scandal Just Got Worse

In one of my last posts I wrote that the Con leadership race was starting to look like a crime story.

And I suggested that it might be time to call in the police.

Or at the very least the Keystone Cops.

Because that grubby leadership race is becoming more and more farcical.

Donald Trump and the Day of Reckoning

It was an extraordinary sight, and Donald Trump's day of reckoning.

His worst nightmare coming true.

The FBI director, and the director of the National Security Agency, testifying before the House Intelligence Committee, and all but calling Trump a liar.

Donald Trump and the Lies That Will Destroy Him

Well we know that it wasn't exactly a meeting of minds.

We know that Donald Trump acted like an orange oaf when he met with Angela Merkel.

Or like a very small man, with no manners or class.

And we know how it ended...

Why the Police Should Investigate The Con Leadership Race

The other day I warned that the Con leadership race was becoming more desperate and more porky by the day.

With so many mediocre candidates, and no new ideas.

And now to make matters even worse, the suffocating stench of scandal.

With Kevin O'Leary aka Mr Wonderful, claiming he was robbed.

Ezra Levant's Grotesque International Embarrassment

For years Ezra Levant has disgraced himself, and disgusted decent people all over Canada, with his ugly professional bigotry, and his total lack of class.

Or the way he begs for money all the time, like a screaming beggar.

But now Levant and his hate mongering rag The Rebel have finally hit rock bottom.

Donald Trump's Cruel and Monstrous Budget

It's a budget plan only the monstrous Donald Trump and his bestial followers could love.

A plan that would take money from the poor and the vulnerable, and hand it over to the police, the military, and the millionaires.

One that would attack the arts and the humanities as only fascists can.

And one that could only be the product of those who would describe the crippling of meals-on-wheels programs all over America as an act of "compassion."

The Con Leadership Race Is Now a Stinky Scandal

It's a horrible sight, it sounds bestial. Oinky, oinky, honky honk!!!!

And it smells even worse.

But who can be surprised?

As the never ending Con leadership race heads towards the final stretch, the stench of porky is in the air.

And the most disgusting leadership campaign in modern Canadian history is in danger of gassing itself.

Donald Trump and the Disciples of a False Prophet

Well there he was in Nashville yesterday, surrounded by his faithful supporters, and bellowing like a beast.

Giving them what they wanted.

Another chance to chant "lock her up" four months after the election.

For they are beasts like him.

Amy Krouse Rosenthal and the Power of Love

I don't know how many times I've heard a dying person say, " I'm glad I'm going first because I can't imagine living without my beloved husband/wife/companion."

Which although it's exactly how I feel, always makes me feel a little guilty or wonder whether I'm being a bit selfish.

So I give thanks for the life of Amy Krouse Rosenthal.

Donald Trump's Disastrous Trumpcare Scam

I must admit that when I saw Rachel Maddow's breathless promo, for a brief moment I had a vision of Donald Trump in handcuffs.

But sadly, although the leaked tax forms did show that Trump is not a very good businessman.

President Trump wrote off more than $100 million in business losses to reduce his federal taxes in 2005, according to forms made public on Tuesday night:

By claiming losses, Mr. Trump apparently saved millions of dollars in taxes that he would otherwise have owed.

There was so little in those few pages, that one had to wonder whether Trump had leaked them himself.

Donald Trump and the Incredibly Shrinking President

As you probably know, Donald Trump has been trying to keep a very low profile ever since he sent out these deranged early morning tweets just over a week ago.

He has turned into the Incredibly Shrinking President, no doubt hoping that Americans will forget all about those tweets, and not question his sanity.

But now he's run out of time.

Donald Trump and the Republican Revolt

Ever since he accused Barack Obama of tapping his phone, Donald Trump has been trying to behave himself.

He has toned down his compulsive tweeting. He hasn't made any other outrageous statements.

He's trying to reassure Americans, and the rest of the world, that he's not having a nervous breakdown. And that he can be trusted with the nuclear button.

But sadly for him, this tweet can only have made even more people wonder about his mental state.

Horror Story: A Week At Sea With Ezra Levant

As you may know, Ezra Levant and his ratty Rebels like to organize Caribbean cruises every now and then.

So the porky Rebel Commander can get a little sun, and milk a little more money out of his faithful supporters.

And while I've written about them before, I've never read what it's like to actually be trapped on a cruise ship with Levant and his ghastly gang.

But now The Walrus has sent one of its writers to sea with them.

Donald Trump and the Ticket To Hell

He hated Obamacare with a passion, if only because of its name.

He ranted and raved about it during the campaign, he vowed to destroy it the moment he came to office.

But now that he is president, and the Democrats are calling his Republican plan to replace it Trumpcare, he hates that name too.

And it's getting more and more obvious that he doesn't know what he's doing.

Rick Mercer on Kellie Leitch's Bizarre Campaign

For months the ghastly Con leadership candidate Kellie Leitch has been demanding that refugees and immigrants be given her "Canadian Values" test.

While never telling us what kind of questions she would ask them.

But now Leitch has shared a few of them with supporters of the racist rag The Rebel.

And as you can imagine they couldn't be more grotesque.

Has Donald Trump Finally Gone Over the Deep End?

It's now been four days since Donald Trump woke up early in the morning and fired off some deranged tweets, in the general direction of Barack Obama.

And according to reports from the warring factions in the Trump White House, for a few hours after that Trump was in a really good mood.

Until he realized that he had gone over the deep end...

Tuesday, March 07, 2017

Maxime Bernier and the Red Pill Road To Ruin

For most of the Con leadership campaign, Maxime Bernier was the happy warrior or the  happy biker.

Roaring down the highway selling extreme libertarianism instead of racism and bigotry like many of the other candidates.

But even though that approach has served him well, and propelled him past Kellie Leitch.

It seems that the boob from the Beauce is now trying to appeal to her supporters. And the picture is getting a lot darker.

Donald Trump and the Idiocy of Ben Carson

When Donald Trump first offered Ben Carson a cabinet job, Carson turned him down saying he didn't have a clue about how to run a government department.

But Trump insisted, Carson agreed to become the new head of the department of Housing and Urban Development.

And yesterday he showed his boss, and the world, how clueless he can be.

By addressing a group of employees and comparing immigration to slavery.

Has Donald Trump Tweeted Himself Into A Corner?

They don't call him Twitler for nothing, and Donald Trump's compulsive tweeting has caused him problems before.

But somehow he always manages to get away with it, so one big lie just follows another.

But his early Saturday morning tweets accusing Barrack Obama of wiretapping Trump Tower...

May be the biggest mistake of his short and chaotic presidency.

The Ugly Confusion of Michelle Rempel

You don't see or hear much about Michelle Rempel these days.

Once she was a rising star in the Harper Party, and a legend in her own mind.

But then Big Daddy went down with a sickening thud, and so did her political career.

These days Rempel spends a lot of her time posing as a Con with a heart of gold, and lecturing other MPs on how to behave.

But sadly all too often, fails to live up to her own demanding standards.

Donald Trump and the American Horror Story

He managed to deliver a speech to a joint session of Congress, without straying from the script on his tele prompter.

And that so impressed some in the media they praised him for acting like a  "normal president."

But of course Donald Trump couldn't keep up that act for long, and early this morning he once again proved why he is unfit to be president.

With this barrage of deranged tweets.

Kellie Leitch and the Video From Hell

She is still desperately trying to attract attention, in a crowd of equally mediocre Con leadership candidates.

She's still wrapping herself in the colours of the country, to better flog her grotesque "Canadian values" campaign.

But with every passing day Kellie Leitch appears to be losing her grip on reality.

And I fear she has now gone over the deep end.

Donald Trump and the Russian Connection

Donald Trump must have hoped he would be able to bury the Russian election hacking story, in some dark place where nobody could ever find it.

Or shred it, or burn it.

So he could say if there is no evidence, it never happened.

It's just FAKE NEWS.

But unfortunately for him, if that was his plan, it just became a lot harder.

The Con Clowns and the Voice In Their Heads

It was such a boring show I had to remember to keep breathing. And needless to say I couldn't watch it for more than a few minutes. No sane person could.

Although it seems it did have its farcical moments.

For there were thirteen of the fourteen Con clown leadership candidates yesterday, trying to compress The Thoughts of Chairman Harper into sixty second sound bites.

And basically agreeing to agree. *Yawn.*

While Kevin O'Leary, the candidate who wasn't there, ran away with the headlines for all the wrong reasons.
