Jason Kenney and the Foreign Workers Scam

Well it was quite a spectacle. Jason Kenney in the House of Commons, trying to limit the damage of the foreign worker's scandal.

Desperately trying to make it go away.

But the look on Peter Kent's face told the story, showed how much that scandal has hurt the Cons.

And nothing Kenney said will make it better.

For anyone who witnessed that absurd spectacle wouldn't have known whether to cry or laugh.

Vic Toews and the Con Police State

He is, after his depraved leader, the most brutish Con of them all.

A religious bigot, a ghastly hypocrite, a political thug who has spent a lifetime attacking judges, and jailing Canadians.

For he cannot jail enough of them. Or violate our liberties enough.

And now he's out of control.

Harperland: The Horror and the Beauty

One of the worst things about living in Stephen Harper's monstrous Canada, is having to spend so much time writing about the crimes of the Con regime.

The vile acts, the ugliness, the cruelty, the barbarism of that bestial cult that is slowly killing our country.

Instead of being able to write about the more beautiful things, the good people, and the great Canadian stories that inspire me, and make our country worth saving.

Stephen Harper's Disastrous Bout With Justin Trudeau

Well afterwards the experts did agree on one thing eh?

It wasn't exactly the bout of the century, but it was both horribly revealing, and deeply disturbing.

For there was Big Boy Harper rushing out of his corner to accuse Justin Trudeau of being a girly man.

Only to lead with his belly, trip on his thong, fall flat on his face, commit defecation, and cry uncle sociologist.

Stephen Harper Unchains his Inner Monster

We know he is a brutish political thug who would do anything to cling to power.

A cold, cruel man who can't feel the pain of others.

Those who have worked with him say he turns the air around him blue, or yellow, with the dirtiest swear words.

But now he's so desperate he's publicly channeling his inner monster.

The Terrorist Bill and the October Nightmare

Sometimes I can't help feeling that a lot of Canadians have forgotten the fundamental lesson of the War Measures Act.

And that is, it wasn't Pierre Trudeau's finest hour, it was his darkest.

It was an October nightmare, that led to the arrests of hundreds of innocent people.

It wasn't needed to ensure public safety, or arrest and prosecute the terrorists. And this bill isn't either.

The Deplorable Day of the Con Monkeys

Well one thing is for sure eh?

You can't let our Con monkeys run wild, or they WILL get into trouble.

Make absolute fools out of themselves, and embarrass us all.

Like Joe Oliver did today.

Rehtaeh Parsons and the Ghastly Bully Cons

It looks as if poor Rehtaeh Parsons is about to do what no dead bullied Canadian kid has ever managed to do before.

Get Stephen Harper and his Con regime to do something about bullying.

The federal government wants to expedite a review of “gaps” in the Criminal Code and introduce legislative reforms to address cyber-bullying, as the grieving parents of Rehtaeh Parsons told the prime minister Tuesday they felt “helpless” to save their daughter.

And I wish I could celebrate, for I have waited so long for somebody to do something. And there have been so many dead kids. But I can't. Because this Con plan is not just flawed it's MONSTROUS.

Richie Havens and the Freedom Song

When I lived in the McGill Student Ghetto, I was told that Richie Havens once lived in the building next door.

Either shortly before or after Woodstock, when he fell in love with a woman who worked at Eaton's. Or so the legend went.

And when I sat on my small rickety wooden balcony, on a hot summer's night, and played my guitar, I would think of him. Because he was amazing.

Stephen Harper and the Politics of Terror

Well now we know how desperate he is to destroy Justin Trudeau.

Now we know how far he will go to use the government of Canada against his opponents.

And turn Canada into a police state.

Now we know how in pursuit of all of the above, he would play politics with terror.

The Bloody Battle for Gay Marriage in France

I can hardly believe what's been happening in France.

Riot police battling homophobes, religious fanatics, and neo-Nazi groups.

Gay people being attacked over their right to be married.

In the streets of Paris, in the City of Love.

Stephen Harper Goes After Justin Again

Oh no. I see Stephen Harper is still trying to politicize a tragedy.

Still trying to portray himself as a strong leader.

Still trying to portray Justin Trudeau as a girly man too weak to govern.

In a surprise move Friday, the Harper government said it will launch a two-day debate on its proposed anti-terrorism legislation starting Monday, hoping to capitalize on the controversy surrounding Mr. Trudeau’s call after the Boston Marathon bombing to fight the “root causes” of terrorism.

When in fact he's the one unfit to govern, a dangerous maniac, and a hypocrite.

The Big Pot Party and the Criminal Cons

I didn't have a chance to attend any of the pro-marijuana rallies today.

Like this one in Vancouver.

Or any of the many others.

Canadians gathered in cities across the country Saturday to mark April 20, an unofficial annual holiday celebrating cannabis culture.

But if I had been there I definitely would have inhaled eh? Because I believe the Great War on Marijuana is just another word for that unique combination of insanity and hypocrisy, known as reefer madness.

Stephen Harper's Attack Ads Backfire Badly

Oh dear. It looks as if Stephen Harper's attempt to screw Justin Trudeau has backfired badly.

He was hoping to stick a few pins into Justin's dolly.

But instead he finds himself pulling them out of his own
large behind.

A poll conducted by EKOS between Wednesday and Friday of this week found that 84 per cent of respondents found the ads were negative and 71 per cent said the ads didn’t affect their view of Trudeau.

The Disastrous Decline of the Con Regime

It was such a beautiful day, the first real day of Spring, that I spent hours pedalling around my magic island, out of touch with the rest of the world.

So it wasn't until I met the three four bears at the little vintage amusement park, that I heard the stunning news. Little Jimbo Flaherty was missing in action !!!!

Stephen Harper Begins his Assault on Medicare

He has always wanted to strangle it. He has had to restrain himself for so long.

From the moment he entered politics, with the support of an organization that was founded to destroy medicare.

But now at last his foul assault on our precious healthcare system has begun.

And it's both stealthy and  monstrous.

Stephen Harper's Monstrous Attack on Justin Trudeau

I told you he was the sleaziest political pervert this country has ever seen.

I told you he has no morals. I told you he has no class.

I told you he was so scared of Justin Trudeau he would do ANYTHING to screw him.

But who knew he was so debased he would turn a horrible tragedy into another attack ad?

Stephen Harper and the Foreign Workers Scam

The other day I wrote that the foreign workers scandal had given us a mighty weapon to use to destroy the Con regime.

For as you know Stephen Harper likes to boast about the number of jobs he has created.

But from now on he'll have to tell that one to his pet pig eh?

For now we know who got those jobs and it's just a SCAM...

Stephen Harper's Kinky Attack on Justin Trudeau

We knew that he is the most grotesque political pervert this country has ever seen.

The ringleader of the RepubliCon raincoat brigade who brought American-style attack ads to Canada.

We knew he couldn't wait to screw Justin Trudeau. Because he's so jealous of him, so frightened of him, so DESPERATE.

But did Great Kinky Leader really have to whip out his dirty thing, so publicly, and so soon?

Ding Dong the People's Song and the Progressive Hero

Well it didn't make it to the number one position on this week's music charts.

Ding Dong! The Witch Is Dead has failed to reach the number one spot in the music charts.

The Wizard of Oz song, which has been at the centre of an online campaign by opponents of Baroness Thatcher, reached number two after selling 52,605 copies.

And the BBC did chicken out.

But number two is still extraordinary for a 74-year-old song. And somewhere the spirit of the man who wrote it is chuckling tonight.

Joe Oliver and the Pipeline Parable

The last time I saw Joe Oliver he was still trying to sell his dirty oil pipeline.

Still trying to convince us that the water from the tailing ponds was safe enough to drink.

But since then there have been some unfortunate developments eh?

It turns out it's NOT good to the last drop.

Stephen Harper and the War on Alexandre

Alexandre Boulerice is one of my favourite MPs.

He's a big guy, and when he gets up in the Commons and shouts at Stephen Harper, you can see the tyrant flinch wince wobble.

Which is a spectacle I rather enjoy eh?

So you can imagine how outraged I was to see Great Wobbly Leader launch an all out attack on the big guy, when he wasn't there to defend himself.

Over something he once said about the First World War !!!!

Rehtaeh Parsons and the Bully Harper

It's hard to imagine a worse horror story.

A young woman is sexually assaulted, and publicly humiliated.

Her school does nothing. A  police investigation goes nowhere.

Then she is bullied, and then she kills herself.

Margaret Thatcher Even Worse Than I Remembered

I wasn't planning to write another post about the late Margaret Thatcher.

But now that I see that the Cons in Britain are planning to give her a lavish funeral. Even though most Britons are outraged.

Crippled by savage Tory cuts, ordinary Brits are furious at forking out £10million for the funeral of a woman who shattered many of their communities all those years ago and left them a legacy of despair.

And that if you plan to protest the police want your name.

I'm starting to get the horrible feeling that my heartfelt obit didn't do her justice eh?

Stephen Harper and the Great Betrayal

It's like a nightmare version of Richard III. Or the last act of the Con regime.

Stephen Harper limping across the stage of his corrupt and decaying government screaming like a madman:

My Kingdom for a pipeline !!!!!

Or my Kingdom for a foreign worker !!@#!!

Because if you thought the Royal Bank was the only bank to replace Canadians with foreign workers you would be wrong.

The Ghastly Legacy of Margaret Thatcher

This time I waited until I was sure she was dead before I started celebrating eh?

For I'll never forget the last time Margaret Thatcher's death was announced.

And I was halfway through a bottle of cheap wine, until I realized it was only John Baird's pussy who had passed.

But now ding dong she's really gone, and I'm making up for that bitter disappointment.

The Royal Bank and the Foreign Cons

By now you've probably heard about this outrageous story.

Dozens of employees at Canada’s largest bank are losing their jobs to temporary foreign workers, who are in Canada to take over the work of their department.

But while the Royal Bank richly deserves what's coming to it, so do the Harper Cons.

Why We Should Fear What's Happening in Montreal

It's a scene that keeps repeating itself in the streets of Montreal.

A few hundred demonstrators set out on a peaceful march to protest against a totalitarian by-law limiting freedom of assembly.

Only to be kettled by the riot squad, and then arrested. Like they were again this weekend.

The Twilight of the Harper Regime

For seven long and dark years Stephen Harper was able to hold this country in his iron grip.

For years him and his Cons were able to fool Canadians into thinking they knew what they were doing.

For years he was able to make the stooge media dance to his tinny tunes.

But now it's all going horribly wrong.

The Harperland Spring and the Partisan Nightmare

When I woke up today, the sky was blue, the sun was shining, and for a moment  I thought that Spring had arrived in Harperland. Finally !!!!!

But then I stepped outside, realized that it was still horribly cold eh? And my day went rapidly down hill.

Before I could even finish my first coffee, it was Sean, my very good and very NDP friend, on the phone and very angry: "Since when did YOU become a LIBERAL?"  #@!!!

Justin Trudeau and the Con Attack Machine

Holy Voodoo Batman. I see Great Ugly Leader is getting ready to go after Justin Trudeau.

Hoping to pin his doll on the Trophy Board of Dead Liberal Leaders he keeps in his bedroom.

To inspire arouse him when he rises in the morning.

And so determined is the monster to add Justin to his collection, he has already announced plans to destroy him with his mighty Attack Machine !!!

Michael Sona and the RoboCon Scandal

Well, it's been a long time coming.

And I have to admit I had almost given up hope that anybody would ever be charged in connection with the RoboCon Scandal.

But finally somebody has picked up the ringing phone and answered my prayers.

After 21 months of investigation, Elections Canada has charged a former Conservative campaign staffer over misleading robocalls in Guelph, Ont. in the 2011 election.

And now I can't help but think that this is just The Beginning....of the end of Stephen Harper.

Stephen Harper and the Con Pit Bulls

When you stare at the public face of Stephen Harper's sinister Con regime, what you see is horrifying enough.

A tired, morally corrupt regime, that is willing to lie, muzzle people, or do anything to cling to power.

But what most Canadians don't see, what is hidden from their view, is even more frightening.

Stephen Harper's Witch Hunt Backfires Badly

Well it has been a year since Stephen Harper declared war on environmentalists.

And started going after the Green Menace like Joe McCarthy went after the red one.

Calling respected environmental groups "radicals" and "extremists" and ordering that they be investigated.

Now the first results are in, and no doubt Harper is rolling on the floor of his bunker tonight, screaming with disappointment, and/or biting the carpet.
